Now that this anthology is finally complete, it would be easy for us writers to pat ourselves on the back, have unseemly celebrations and scream “We did it.” And, hey…WE DID IT! But we didn’t do it alone. This anthology would have been radically different if not for the efforts our beta readers, Aggrey Moyi and Louisa Mutero and our editors, Keith Rigathi, Muthoni Kimani and Sally Ireri. They read these stories back when they were an embarrassing mess and ushered them into readable territory. They did the near impossible job of keeping our egos stoked while still keeping us in check. We didn’t make it easy on them either. Our scheduling was a mess, sometimes the tales were almost incomprehensible but they toughed it out and you can see the results.

Thank you all.

Kevin Rigathi is a software developer (that’s what they actually pay him to do), a writer (that’s what he hopes a mysterious they will pay him for) and an artist (that’s what even more mysterious theys occasionally pay him for). Basically, he is a guy who sits in front a computer and creates things.
He has written for storymoja, penned the article “What Crazy Looks Like” in the second ebook and is a writer at, and the co-creator of,
His catchphrase is “how the hell did I get myself into this!?”
